Astek has been a longtime fan of and consultant to DanceWork Chicago. When DanceWorks was ready to redesign their site in 2011, Astek was thrilled to be chosen to build the innovative site designed by Kevin Reed of vin design.

Astek and vin design created a site focused on the dancers that builds audience through integration of social media and SalesForce. From audition forms, to donations, to RSVPs for free events, anytime information about a site visitor can be captured in SalesForce, it is. Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo and Google Plus are also integrated throughout the site.

Every dancer bio page points to their professional Facebook and/or Google Plus presence and every event and fundraising campaign has prominent Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus share options. Video is an essential medium to demonstrate dance so galleries combining photos with Vimeo videos were integrated throughout the website. Astek built the site in Webany content management system to allow DanceWorks to easily update the site with new performances, repertoire, and dancers.
